3 Easy Steps to Painting a Filling Cabinet

  1. Prepare filing cabinet by removing hardware and scuffing surface with fine grit sandpaper, then thoroughly clean surface with Benjamin Moore's M83.

  2. Prime surface with Fresh Start.  If there are any rust spots - remove with sandpaper and prime filing cabinet with Benjamin Moore's Metal Rust Primer.

  3. Paint filing cabinet with Benjamin Moore Satin Impervo Paint, using a high density foam roller, apply 2-3 thin coats of paint, allowing to dry between coats. (Satin Impervo Paint is an alkyd and will take longer to dry.)
